A short distance south of the NCT on N Conway Road is US-31 (Merritt Street). At the intersection of these streets is the Parks Place Cafe. I had an excellent lunch here and I highly recommend this place. It's open for breakfast and lunch only (until 2 pm), so I was fortunate to arrive when I did. It is right across the street from Crooked Lake.
