7,320+ ft Gypsy Peak (the Pend Oreille Cohp and highest point in Eastern Washington) 12 miles to the east of Abercrombie. To Gypsy's right is Pk 7177. There are only ten >7,000-ft peaks in Eastern Washington (Gypsy, Abercrombie, Bonaparte, Hooknose, Pk 7177, Copper Butte, Snow, Scar, Wapaloosie, and Sherman). April 26, 2005.

Great day

Looks like you had some nice weather in that corner of the state. I particularly was looking forward to this shot of Gypsy as the day i was up there was pretty hazy in that direction thanks to a big fire in Idaho.

Thanks for the great view of Gypsy Peak, Paul. Too many snow flurries to see very far the day I was on Abercrombie.
