Definitely a daisy !

Was it growing in the mountains?

That makes it a Mountain Daisy.

"Ev'n thou who mourn'st the Daisy's fate,
That fate is thine-no distant date;
Stern Ruin's plough-share drives elate,
Full on thy bloom,
Till crush'd beneath the furrow's weight,
Shall be thy doom!"

Tell you the truth I am not sure exactly what type of Daisy this one is. The shape is obviously that of a daisy but I thought a Mountain Daisy is smaller, lower to the ground and a slightly different color. Who knows? Happy Trails out there Larry

Re: Definitely a daisy !

So, it was growing high off the ground?

Then, it must be a "fading" purple aster!
