Abercrombie Mountain on the left and Hooknose Mountain (7,210 ft) on the right from Gypsy Peak to the east on July 19, 2003. Sorry it looks grainy. This picture taken at full zoom looking through a haze (Gypsy Peak is 13 miles from Abercrombie).

Voted 10/10 | Paul, I appreciate the fact that this picture shows Abercrombie in relation to Gypsy. I've got some pics of this same scene but they are locked up on a hard drive on a computer that is screwed up. I will salvage the hard drive and the pics on it sometime after the Christmas / New Year hoopla is over. I had just climbed Abercrombie the day before and so I was interested in looking at it. I also have some pics of Gypsy from Abercrombie on that same hard drive. So grainy or not, your pics are very helpful to the page. They help to establish the distance factor very nicely.
