Hasn't voted | We did not see a fire while we were there. The first day (Saturday) was a clear sky. We went up on a ridge adjacent to Cispus Basin and got a good look at the Mount Adams area (at least the east and north sides, that is). There was no smoke, then. | | Posted Aug 3, 2011 6:37 am |

Voted 10/10 | Hmmm .. I'm wondering if the Dude's report
on the forum page was completely bogus.
He said it was started by lightning ..
Do you ever see lightning on ANY of your climbs ??? | | Posted Aug 3, 2011 8:32 am |

Hasn't voted | Oh, definitely. Although Washington does not get as much lightning as most other States, but I have seen my fair share. I have even been chased off of a few mountains because of lightning. But with that said, by living here I tend to pick and choose the places to go based off of the weather forecasts. | | Posted Aug 3, 2011 9:49 pm |
