It was interesting to watch the lava, and then follow the lava tubes all the way to the ocean. Yes, Big Island is getting bigger every moment...

Nice Photo Liba!

Brings back memories. Years ago I went to the island but they told us lava was inaccessible, so did a hike to the vent. Turns out it was accessible and it was thrilling to see, but those photos pale compared to this one.

Hi Chad... I have to admit that this photo was taken from a helicopter (yes, lazy me...). We hired a helicopter for me and my son (our first time inside the helicopter), it was fun...
