Love this report and yet it says it is still being constructed. I'll come back and vote the pics but here's something I really like for dealing with mosquitoes when you sleep in a car (or even sit needing the windows open) Skeeter Beaters. I use them for both my Tacoma and Subie.
Thanks for the comment and thanks for the skeeter beaters tip. I will definitely check those out. I just had a few minor details left to take care of, but unfortunately, it's the minor details that seem to take up the most time.
People say I go pretty hard and fast once I get my legs, but I've never undertaken something like this. I've done 24 miles in about 8 hours before, but that was mostly on a trail, pretty easy scrambling, and only 5000' compared to your 8000. I don't know if I could hang with you!
You are an animal! Those Uinta peaks are annoying with all those boulders. I can't imagine dealing with those for so long. Great stuff. I'll admit it. I'm a little jealous.
I know. The problem is that everytime I've been on Kings(3), it's been with scouts. I've looked down that ridge longingly, wondering if I could do it. Actually, SP member Garfimi and I are hopefully going to bag Emmons and one of those other bumps in sept from Roberts Pass. We'll see. You're my Uinta heroine BTW. Awesome!

Re: Great stuffSkeeter beaters?
Seriously, this is a GREAT report, Judy.
I most certainly LOVE your profound sense of humor.
Please, you gotta hang on to your humor here on the Big SP.
Even if you should (possibly) get ran over by a beer truck on
North Temple, you just (gotta) hold on to that "humor factor."

Re: Great stuffThank you Larry! I don't recall ever seeing a beer truck in Utah, but surely they must exist.

Joe Bulloughs ?Geez, I was beginning to think that guy dropped off the face of the
Earth. Glad to see he's making a COMEBACK!
Jimmy Cliff?
I always thought you were a CCR and Eagles fan ...
Nope, I must have you confused with "Dean." Sorry 'bout that, Judy.

Re: Joe Bulloughs ?I love the glasses. So, I was reading the paper today and guess who is coming to the SLC area (Deer Valley) on Tuesday, the man himself.

Re: Joe Bulloughs ?I really miss seeing those summer concerts in Deer Valley!
Have fun, and give the "Cliff Master" a high five if you happen
to brush elbows with him.
Take care.
