Along the Ozark Trail | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
The Rocky Falls spur from the Current River section of the Ozark Trail. Another great swimming hole. These falls really are spectacular after a nice rain.

Voted 10/10 | I just revisited this picture and am surprised to see the falls dry.
The trees are all leafed up, too.
Both are quite different than what I saw:

Hasn't voted | They aren't dry but really low. I visited here at least three times I can remember. The first time was on a couple of day backpacking trip when I arrived at the falls after dark. I slept on my sleeping pad under my tarp on the large rock at the center-top of the falls through a nice rainstorm and watched as the water rose significantly over an hour or so. The next day the trails were so muddy that I hitch-hiked back to my vehicle and went home. Great memories! | | Posted Apr 6, 2010 2:00 pm |
