"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

From Lewis CampWith Shasta. Trail has not been maintained in years - didn't see much of it climbing out of Deep Creek. However there's little undergrowth and cross-country travel is easy.

From Lewis CampOvernight backpack with a camp at Coyote Lakes. Climbed Angora and Coyote on Day 1, then walked out on Day 2. Nice temperatures for the whole hike except that it got a little warm on the last uphill part to the car from the Little Kern River.

Dayhike w/CoyoteClimbed on the way back from Coyote Peaks. Saved a couple of miles and time by dropping directly into Deep Creek from the summit that worked quite nicely with almost no brush. Pictures

Twice...First climbed on May 23 after camping on the ridge north of the summit. Great the first day but Sunday was treated to some of the coldest weather for May I've ever experienced. Went back the following weekend to make up for missing Coyote. Saw a bear the first trip, nearly bit by a rattlesnake the second.
