Route Description

This is the easiest route up Snowy Mountain. From the A.T. trailhead on highway 233 head up the trail for about 1.5 miles to the powerline cut. From here, it's a short hike up to the summit tower. This route only gains about 300 feet in elevation and is 3 miles round trip. The views are decent, but not as great as the views you get from the southern route.

Essential Gear

Comfortable shoes.
