Approaching Oregon Butte on...
Approaching Oregon Butte on the trail. This shot taken roughly from the NW. Somewhere just beyond this point there was a spring-fed water trough (see Dean's photo) that the lookout inhabitants were using. They were storing their vegetables in a container in the trough. They said a bear would periodically get at their stash. Mid-July 2003.
