Arizona Has More Rocks Than An Entire Army of Elves Could Ever Shake a Stick At!

Looking out over the Dells of Watson Lake. Arizona definitely has more rocks than an entire army of Elves could ever shake a stick at. 2008 was a great year, wasn't it??? Do any of you have a feeling the new year might be BETTER??? December 18, 2008

I do! I do!

But anyone who has hiked through Pennsylvania on the AT or tried to dig a garden could give you a good argument about number of rocks.

Maybe Arizona just has bigger rocks....

2009 just has to be better, right?????

Holding a glass of bubbly up..clink!

Re: I do! I do!

Ha, ha ... thanks Kathy! You're right - I tend
to be biased towards AZ. Of course, a good
argument never really hurts anybody.

How does the saying go? Sticks & stones may
break bones, but words will never hurt you???

It would be a dull world if everybody
thought the same, and held the same opinions.
Cheers to you, and I love your brand of bubbly!!!!!

Low water level

I notice from this pic Larry that the water seems to have dropped considerably . I seen a programme on BBC recently talking about the drop in the water levels in Lake Mead and the concern this is causing. Fortunately we don't have such issues as it always bloody rains here.
All the best for 2009

Re: Low water level

You're right, Stephen! And a lot of Americans
are worried about it, even though they're
desperately trying not to let it show.

Of course, you know as well as I that there's
never a problem with a new golf course or
housing development going up.

I stopped washing my car a long time ago.
Now, it looks like a bloody "mud-ball" rollin' down the road, but at least it blends
well with the Arizona landscape.

Have a great 2009, my friend!!!

Re: New Year

There's a contemporary song called "Against All Odds" by Phil Collins. Would you like me to sing it for you ??? : ))) : )))
