Arrowleaf Balsamroot

Arrowleaf Balsamroot (Balsamorhiza sagittata) is one of the commonest large yellow composite flowers in the Wasatch, best identified, of course, by its arrowhead-shaped leaves.

I love yellow flowers, and these remind me of some I recently saw in Olympic National Park called Clasping Arnica. http://www.summitpost.org/view_object.php?object_id=433499
