Avalanche Crown
September 6th, 2009 - Looking at the avalanche crown in the North Couloir as we bypassed it on the NE Buttress variation. The avalanche left the lower half of the couloir as an ice climb, and it scoured out the bergschrund, leaving it as a mix of water and alpine ice. The crown was about 4 ft high.
