(Banana) Boat Mesa

(Banana) Boat Mesa

"Work all night on a drink of rum .. Daylight come and me wanna go home. Stack banana till de morning come, Daylight come and me wanna go home .. Come, Mister tally man, tally me banana .. Daylight come and me wanna go HOME ..." Actually, home is the furthest thing from my mind when viewing the colorful hoodoos in Bryce Canyon NP, Utah. This is Queen's Garden, Chinese Wall, and Boat Mesa (8076'), looking north from Sunset Point. Next trip, I'd like to spend time hiking the Fairyland Trail. If that doesn't happen, I can fly over it in my next Life as a Raven, where I'll surely and completely have a most hauntingly good time. July 30, 2011

Re: Let me

I was watching a sunrise from Sunset Point,
contemplating how many bushels of bananas it
takes to feed all the bloody tourists who
woefully missed the beautiful Bryce sunrise.

A good view

A good view through the trees I must say.

Re: A good view

It's really hard NOT to take a great picture
at Bryce Canyon. The shadows on the hoodoos
change constantly, even faster than some
folks change their minds ... and hundreds of
times faster than the server on SP. : - )
