About 300 meters high north wall is very neglected. Many ascenders attempting the ridge of whole Zapadne Tatry fall into the north wall of Banikov, mostly through breaching overhanging snow over the edge of the ridge ... Sad but true. Beware of this summit, especially in winter. Cheers Tomas :)

I know it, but Im walking on higher part of Tatras only in summer/autumn season. On winter Im walking only on low parts - to huts.
