Barney the bear was none too...
Barney the bear was none too happy we took his summer lodge atop the 6,900-ft promontory. There was plenty of bear poop near our campsite. He gave us a sharp-eyed look (it helped that I hollered out to him) then carried on down the talus. I think he was after pikas, for he was seen trundling rocks. Quite entertaining really. Aug. 30, 2004.
