The Lick of Flame. Can't you...
The Lick of Flame. Can't you just feel the heat coming off of it? LoF is three crags over (east of) Horseshoe's summit: 1. east tower of Horseshoe, 2. unnamed tower, 3. Lick of Flame. The LoF has been climbed (FA in 1982; Class 5.8). It is steep and dangerous on all sides. Aug. 30, 2004.
