| An easy hike in great weather with beautiful views. The summit was super crowded! I hiked this as part of my highpointing goal and wanted to make sure that I got both this and Frissell, just in case. Then again, it's not as if I need an excuse to hike! | |

| I did Bear already 3 times since I molved to CT from CA. Great hike. Nice views on top of the rock pile. The first time on Bear Mountain, we actually saw a bear on our way back. That was really cool. I had never seen a bear in 6 years of living and hiking on the West Coast (CA, WA). I want to go back and do it in Winter, must be really nice too. | |

| Climbed via the Appalachian Trail from the Mount Washington Road. A nice short hike along the Appalachian Trail to Connecticut's highest mountain (though not the highest point). Good views of the Litchfield Hills from the summit rock pile. | |
