| Started this hike at the parking below. Hiked up the road to the saddle, then up the peak. Followed the divide down the other side of the mountain then went down the steep grassy slopse. Hiked Bobtail August of 2007 on a cold windsy day in the mountains before work. The clouds made views restricting. Got back in the city went to work, and it was freaking HOT! Froze in the mountians and fried in the city, just could not win that day. | |

| The day was cold, but clear. (Better than the following day, which was miserable...) We had a large team of a dozen of us and each made the summit. The views from the Divide are just non-stop up here. The winds were tolerable, by Continental Divide standards. | |
