After hiking Naomi in the morning, my wife and I tackled this in the afternoon. It was plenty warm with valley temps in the mid-90's. Great views of Bear Lake!

There were five kids ranging from 7 to 16 that bagged this peak with five adults.

What a great hike, even though it is the lowest in elevation of all of the Utah County Highpoints

After the short hike to Bridger I decided I had time left in the day for Swan Peak to the south. The view from the peak here is amazing...much better than Bridger. So anybody else that is chasing highpoints and does Bridger you might as well tack on Swan because trust me it is worth it.

I wasn't too excited to do this hike, but it proved me wrong. Bridger Peak is in a beautiful area, the hike itself took me 50 minutes, fast hikers could do it in half an hour probably. After leaving the trail to bushwack there are many nice campsites if you want to do a short little backpacking trip with the family. Make sure you head north after leaving the trail, and there you will find the summit cairn.

We had just climbed Naomi Peak and had driven close to Bridger Peak. My wife was debating whether to join me on this hike, and she finally decided to make the hike after some internal debate... thus setting the tone for her to also finish the UT county highpoints.

Great view of Bear Lake from the summit. Beautiful Day. Trail looked like herds of dear and elk had been using it regularly.

I headed toward Logan to try and escape from the hot weather down south. I climbed up the trail to the ridge and then followed it north through the trees. Ended up wandering around for a while looking for the highpoint and finally saw the large cairn on the summit. It was a clear day and I could see all of the mountains and Bear Lake below.

My son and I had attempted to do King's Peak the day before but electrical storms kept us off of it so we bailed and headed for Rich county to get the highpoint. I had looked at this hike in July but the mosquitoes in the area were like I had never seen before. Thick and swarms of them made me not want to donate blood in that fashion (better to do it the way nebben did). So, it was a return visit to the trailhead and nary a skeeter was there to greet us. Just a nice hike on a warm day.

Easy hike after working in SLC for half of a day, donating blood, then going up to bag another UT county highpoint.
