Broken road

It was not more than about a km away; the road which could take us out from our captivity. So close, but still so far away. What blocked the way was the river and the sheer rock face above it. In the foreground a piece of broken road can be seen. We had to climb up about 1200 meters to a ridge and then go down to the road.
