Cascade Canyon with Mount Owen

The trail into Cascade Canyon goes through some forest with only peek-a-boo views, and then suddenly opens up to show you this. Mount Owen on the left, the trail up Cascade Canyon straight ahead.

Cascade Creek is flat here and forms a small beaver pond on the left, where we saw moose. We saw marmots and pikas in the talus ahead on the right. And of course mountains all around!

	Hasn't voted	I'm jealous. Try to time your hiking around Observation Point and the ferry as early in the day as possible to avoid crowds. (Or after the boat stops running.) Have a great time!
