1) A picture of the "dangerous river crossing" would be nice.
2) Typo--I think in the first line below the big picture you mean "sore thumb," rather than "soar thumb."
3) Any way you could lighten the picture that has the "optional" routes in red? It would make more sense if we could see the actual terrain. (If you don't use such already, you might try one of the many photo editors available; a couple have been mentioned on SP that are free downloads, that apparently actually work quite well. And there's always the "standards" of Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, and several others.)
Thanks for your vote Mg! It was very different scrambling on rock that most resembled a climb up Camelback in Phoenix; it certainly made for a beautiful day.

Untitled CommentNice, as usual, Sean! But three points:
1) A picture of the "dangerous river crossing" would be nice.
2) Typo--I think in the first line below the big picture you mean "sore thumb," rather than "soar thumb."
3) Any way you could lighten the picture that has the "optional" routes in red? It would make more sense if we could see the actual terrain. (If you don't use such already, you might try one of the many photo editors available; a couple have been mentioned on SP that are free downloads, that apparently actually work quite well. And there's always the "standards" of Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, and several others.)

Untitled CommentThe fifth (or sixth) Castle Rock on SP - maybe you could add some indication which (or where) it is into the title. Otherwise a very good page again

Untitled CommentInteresting formation & a good page.
The route rating you give should probably be given as "3-4" vs. "III - IV"..........but that's just being anal :)
