Overview
The photos of this album were taken at Circ de Colomers.This area area located in Val d'Aran (catalan Pyrenees). It is a circus of glaciar origin and now that the glaciar ices are inexistant, it is a rugged terrain full of lakes and water ponds, surrounded by hilly peaks and ridges.
The whole is very interesting from many points of view. Not only is it a very scenic place, but is biologically and geologically interessant to the point that it belongs to the Parc Nacional d'Aigües Tortes i Estany de Sant Maurici protected area.
The photos here correspond to a hike called Circuit del Circ de Colomers, that departs from the Refugi de Colomers Hut.
