Hasn't voted | Awesome shot--really gets the adrenaline pumping. But makes the climbing look harder than 5.4. Looks like your partner rotated the camera a bit. I rotated it to flatten the horizon and post the result below. Just trying to see if this route is for me --- is the rotated version about right? It still looks pretty damn steep!

Hasn't voted | No kidding. Thanks to Dirk (and Peter Croft), we put this route on our calendar for this summer! | | Posted Feb 26, 2004 9:56 pm |

Hasn't voted | You guys should like it. Once attaining the ridge, it is mostly 4th to easy 5th class. There isn't as much exposure (in most places), as say Conness' W Ridge, & it isn't as sustained (one must go around various towers along the way)- but it's looooong, with great views. Start early & move fast, to avoid a bivy! | | Posted Mar 1, 2004 12:50 pm |

Hasn't voted | Dirk, could you elaborate on exactly where this is on the route?
Thanks for any help you can provide. | | Posted Jul 27, 2005 11:59 am |
