| Long dayhike from Happy Isles, Half Dome cables were being installed that day so not too many people on the trail... This hike had everything (except bears, unfortunately). Absolutely incredible views of the surrounding high country and the valley below, a bit of routefinding due to significant snow near the summit. 10/10 best hike ever | |

| No exact date, but sometime in late Oct, 1978 with friend from work. At the time the longest dayhike I'd ever done. Beautiful view of the Valley and the High Country. Man, did my knees hurt by the time we returned. | |
