Whenever I see a photo like this I ask a question: "Did he make it???" I hope he did... No rope or ice axe.

Actually, I think I see a rope (yellow line) and an ice axe (in right hand). Also, he might be wearing a chest harness (strap under left arm). This would help straighten him up should he fall into the crevasse.

Yeah, I think that you're right. Still looks pretty impressive. It's a bummer that photo quality is not very good... this is an excellent composition
