Coral Pink Sand Dunes

Coral Pink Sand Dunes

Located on the East side of Zion National Park is the Coral Pink Sand Dunes. Although there are a lot of ATV users out there, there is also a lot of hikers. Nearby are some great pictographs as well as the dunes.

Yes ...

I found your albums. Did you also know...
you can get copyrights on your photos.
You can also "attach" your individual
photos to ALBUMS. If you have a question,
just e-mail an ELF. I'm not talking about
the ones that hang around with Reindeer.
Well ... maybe they do, if they're in
Iceland or Northern Scandinavia! Thanks!

My wife an I -We always have GREAT fun
at the Coral Pinks. Just hiking around
and exploring, and being alert for ATV's.
It's an INCREDIBLE area. I always feel so
HUMBLE when I go there.

Re: Yes ...

I sort of know, but I think I have sat here long enough today! I will work on more later. All the photos here are copyright already, correct?

Re: Please click

I see how to attach a photo. Say I have a photo of Weeping Rock with 2 children, would that be attached to the Weeping Rock climbing route?

That's where things

get interesting. (Please BEAR with me-
I think your computer is faster than
mine.) Okay, Weeping Rock - hey, I
KNOW where that is!!!

Just search for other people's albums,
and you can get an IDEA. If its a
waterfall, there's a SPECIAL ALBUM or
PAGE for that. You can also CREATE your
own ALBUM or TRIP REPORT. Just CLICK
on the appropiate box ... where it says
CREATE PAGE at the very TOP of the
monitor's screen. It's that EASY!

What they're looking for is specific
route information. If the photo shows
a WALL that can be climbed, than that
would be INFORMATIONAL. You can also
make up a SCENERY page. Just make sure
you have all the facts and photos together,
before beginning the submittal process.

Perhaps I'm confusing...
Please check with Anya Jingle, for example.
She's got many beautiful and factual
ALBUMS posted on this site.

~groan~

But do I ever get to leave my chair. :(

Just kidding... I think ;)

I will work on the easy stuff first then work on trip reports and albums. I like to do trip reports right after I hike them. Sort of like get home all excited and have to share sort of thing. :)

SAME PAGE, now. Just check other ALBUMS
for various IDEAS. Sp-members 'dean,'
'rfbolton,' mountaingazelle,' 'Anya Jingle,'
'boydie,' 'corax', the list of folks goes on
... from all over the world. This is an
international site! YOUR PHOTOS just went
INTERNATIONAL!!! Jumping up & down!!! !!! Weeeeeeeeeeee!

Re: Uh Huh ...

I like when adults are kiddish. Getting serious is often a problem... not to mention bad for our health, but it's contagious! ;)

People are interesting!

I like to look at the GOOD in people. I mean,
it goes beyond the economy. People can be really FUN to be around with. But then, I respect the ones who want to be by themselves.

HEY!!! How did we get on this subject? At the TOP of this page is an AWESOMELY BEAUTIFUL sand dune, just to the east of Zion National Park! I want to TOUCH it - want to run the sand through my fingers like PLAYING in a GIGANTIC SAND BOX.

The sands of time ... are calling my name.

Ha, ha ...

No. Do you know where it is? When I go to the
Coral Pinks, I know there is AWESOME country
all around me. It is a VERY big picture. I hope you can continue to share your wonderful photos with us. Please keep them coming!!!

I know about an arch just west of the Pahreah
Town Site, think its called STARLIGHT ARCH.
That one really FACINATES me, because its
located just east of MOLLIES NIPPLE. Thanks!

Re: Ha, ha ...

We will have to do Starlight Arch and Mollie's Nipple when you and your wife come this way. I have not done either, but I do know where the Dunes Arch is. ;)
