Crystal Clear
The water in Bloomington Lake is absolutely crystal clear and it takes on a blue green tint because it is very, very deep. Photo by Matt Durrant on August 25, 2007.

This photo plays tricks with my brain! It looks like the water is dropping off over some serene waterfall into some unseen abyss under the cliffs.

It really does doesn't it? Near the cliffs is the deepest part of the lake and from this angle is just looks as the the cliffs just disappear.
