They are very spectacular phenomena .....
These water natural reservoirs are of a various size. Sometimes they disappear during a heavy drought or in the area of a more porous rocky bottom. Their colours origin from dissolved minerals from surroundings, not from reflections of sky or clouds, and they are, in fact, some kind of mineral solution. A rich blossom of some microorganisms like cyanobacteria or algae can also colour these waters. There is a good example of such lakes-ponds in Polish mountains called Rudawy Janowickie. Three small lakes: "Purpurowe", "Błękitne" and "Zielone" are coloured by Fe- and Cu-solutions as well as by algae. A range of mountain lakes colours is from white, through grey, light green, dark green, light blue, red, purple, up to dark brown, even black.
PRESENTING THEM WE MUST REJECT COLOURS COMING FROM ANY REFLECTIONS !
Thanks to everybody who improved this album!!!
