Beautiful Day, Beautiful Hike

We camped the night before at Whiting Campground at the trailhead up Maple Canyon. However, I would recommend backpacking in - there are a number of decent camping spots. We loved it, it was fun. We were a little disappointed in Maple Lake and decided it should be called Maple Pond. It was a nice place to rest, regardless. There was a little snow the we had to find our way across on the way up, but it was a blast sliding down it on the way down. This is a cool peak, we had the summit to ourselves on a Saturday for almost an hour. Don't forget to head to the right at the first fork (crossing the creek)after leaving the trailhead!

What is this? A trip report? Where did you hike/climb? Any pics? Such a mystery man!
