Beauty in the Desert

Having lived in Southern California all of my life, the one place I really had NO desire to visit was Death Valley (HOT!!!). After talking to a few hikers who visited the park regularly, I decided I had to check this place out. I decided that winter was probably the best time to make this trip! Camera in hand, I camped at Furnace Creek (another HOT name!), and ventured out.

This is a photo collection I like to call, "Death Valley Color", because there truely is an abundance of color here, you just have to get off the couch and go look at it. I did, and I am glad I did.
