Descending Mount Jefferson

Descending Mount Jefferson

The summit is a very broad high plateau visible in the background. The pointy peak to the right of it is just a bump. Mount Jefferson South Summit, Toquima Mountains in Central Nevada. November 2005.

Re: cute!

Thanks Gracia. He loves hiking on cool and cold mountains. It was windy up there and that made his day to.
Cheers to you and your dog ;)

Re: nevada yeti species?

Ha, ha. Yes, it is legal. I brought him all the way from Europe and he likes it here. Cheers.

Anya ...

Your dog Hadrian came all the way from
Europe? Has he ever got fully used to
life in the desert, or has he had to
make an adaptation like everybody else?
I bet he gets a bit warm in summer. Nice
dog, I can understand the bonding power
between humans and dogs. Cheers, LARRY

Re: Anya ...

He was born near the Tatra Mountains and yes he does not like the hot weather here. We deal with it by haircuts, air conditioning and fans.
Mount Jefferson was very cool that day and the wind was strong so he had a good time. It actually started to snow when we were driving out. Greetings, Anya.
