Sarah, I don't know if she's ever been to
Roosevelt Lake, but I remember a "city slicker" who had this same thing happen.
The trick is not to get too close. Once they become lodged in your skin, it takes a
sturdy pair of plyers and a good "YANK" to
get them out.
My wife had a similiar experience. She got one stuck in her posterior. I'm just glad
she noticed it before sitting down! !!
