| Up the Mowbray Ridge route from Rhodes' Memorial, then to the saddle with Table Mountain. Couldn't find a good route from there to the top of Table so headed down and up Platteklip Gorge. | ||

| sync | Route Climbed: Newlands Ravine Date Climbed: 30 April 2005 ![]() | |
| Hiked up Newlands Ravine to the Saddle and then the firebreak to the summit. We descended around the north side, ending up on Middle Traverse, but we either missed a turnoff or the trail is highly overgrown, because we had to bushwack our way through the fynbos until we got to Mowbray Ridge. | ||

| Smalltimeclimber | Route Climbed: Mowbray ridge, frontal, silverstream ravine, dark gorge, first waterfall ravine, newlands ravine, ledges Date Climbed: Multiple times between 1993 and 2002 ![]() | |
| The most intersting ascents of this mountain are in the gorges on the Newlands side in my opinion. Look out for Himalayan Tahr on the ascent. | ||

| Misty all day. We only had about a total of 10 seconds worth of views but I enjoyed it nevertheless. | ||
