Approach

From the trailhead at the West Fork of the Pahsimeroi hike about 2.4 miles up the drainage. You will see a large drainage off to your left, this is where you want to head.

Route Description

Hiking up the drainage I have yet to find a good trail here, but you want to try and get up on the ridge as soon as possible. From there it is a straight shot to the top.

This nice bowl provides access to some of the best backcountry skiing you will find in Idaho (Conditions permitting)

Essential Gear

I wouldn't rank a helmet a necessary for this particular route. There is minimal scrambling and no tight areas of major concern

Trekking poles make things a-lot easier that is for sure.

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
