Emmons-Winthrop Glacier Route

This album contains a collection of images taken during ascents of Mt. Rainier on July 2, 2008 and August 23, 2009 via the Emmons-Winthrop Glacier Route. The Emmons-Winthrop Glacier Route offers a spectacular alternative to an ascent up the more popular Disappointment Cleaver (DC) Route. This route is less technical than the DC route, but more strenuous.
