12-August-2007: This is the first crux, near the first tower. I think Supertopo rates this 5.5 or something like that. I went up one of the cracks in hiking boots (probably should have put on my climbing shoes :)

Hasn't voted | It's a really fun route -- if you feel solid soloing fourth / easy fifth in the Sierra there is no need to bring gear IMO. Just sticky rubber approach shoes and a pair of climbing shoes as backup. This is a perfect time of year to do it too. | | Posted Aug 20, 2010 11:50 am |
