At the time, that cloud didn't look too ominous to me, although I would rather have had clear skies, but by the end of the morning, as we we were still high up on Sincholagua, we found ourselves in a dangerous thunderstorm.
Now, thunderstorms are pretty common around there, but not that early!

The traveling bug bit me about 10 years ago. At first, all I did was a bit of hill walking, but it progressed rapidly to longer hikes and then to more technical stuff. And since we don't have mountains here in the Netherlands, I travel ...
