Route Description


The Fisher Ridge Trail stretches for the entire length of the ridge from east to west. The trail's total length is just under 20 miles in its' entirety. This trail affords beautiful views to the surrounding valleys as well as great views of the river on the western part of the ridge. The trail rises and falls in gaining 350 feet to the true summit from the access point north of Malta. There are also many beautiful meadows on the western edge of the ridge which provide another wonderful place for views. The most challenging trail on the ridge also connects to this only .5 miles east of the access point from Malta. This route provides wonderful views and much solitude.
