| Started up at 7:15am, got a little lost then back on track and on to the summit at 10:15 with my Nephew Wil and buddy Andy. Back to the TH just before a T-Storm at 12:25pm. Beautiful day for this nice trek. | |

| It was tough getting up the gully to the connecting ridge with Quandary. I dislodged a 100# rock down onto my knee, but luckily lifted my leg which prevented major damage. Nice views of the original Holy Cross and not a soul to be seen. | |

| Climbed the east face couloir with Darin from McCullough Gulch. We took the main couloir that comes down directly from the summit, finished to the left side to avoid a cornice so not quite a direct finish. Narrow choke is starting to get icy and will probably melt out soon, get this one quickly for continuous snow! | |

| Good snow conditions. Good coverage, but not quite enough for snowshoes. South Face had good accumulation. I would imagine this to be a fun ski descent. Contemplated the idea of linking the West Ridge of Quandary. Not today! | |

| Took the standard route up, and the upper ridge back down. saw only one other couple that day.Awesome day in the mountains. I may have to stay off the over crowded fourteeners, from now on. | |
