Fly Agaric
Amanita Muscaria also known as Fly Agaric often grows near Birch trees. These fungi contain the two toxins ibotenic and muscimol. When ingested these toxins contain hallucinogenic properties but they can damage the liver and are potentially fatal. Photographed in Royal Basin, August 25, 2007.
