This is back when I was wandering around
in AZ's "outback." I was by myself, so I had to set the camera down on a flat rock and set the timer. (This Saguaro managed to survive a recent "flash flood.")
The rock that the camera was sitting on was
not "perfectly" flat. On my final attempt to
ADJUST the camera, I almost tripped over a
rattlesnake.
The locals HERE call them "snazzle-rakes!"

I have always wanted to plant some desert spiky plants in my yard, but my mom does not like cacti! :(
