| Doing this hike 2 days after having climbed Shasta left me totally spent. However, the views of Tahoe and the Carson Range from the summit were more than worth it. Glad to have notched another county highpoint! | ||

| Camped at Fallen Leaf Lake CG on 8/25/2012. Hiked with Andy Li. Our plan was to hike the 3 peaks in this area - (Freel, Jobs & Sister). We did not make to the Jobs since it was very windy and Andy felt tired. Next time! | ||

| The road in to Horse Meadow is rough, especially at the beginning -- had to switch to 4WD. Sand slog up but fun descent. Register is an ammo box packed with logbooks and scraps of paper, all full -- had to scribble my name in a corner. | ||

| mg1779 | Wild Cows! ![]() | |
| Can't remember when I climbed this. We took the trail up and then my friend decided to take us down the other side. We bushwacked through the backcountry and saw lots of wild cows. Somehow we made it back to the car. Crazy fun! | ||

| SEF | From Kingsbury Grade ![]() Date Climbed: Jun 23, 2012 | |
| For something different, we started at Kingsbury Grade on the Tahoe Rim Trail and hiked that to a bit past Star Lake, then hiked up what I will call the cable line canyon (the cables that used to serve the relay station that once was on Freel's summit poke up from the ground in places here), reaching the saddle just E of Freel. After tagging Freel, we tagged Jobs Sister and Jobs, then descended E to Carson Valley to complete the trip. It was a very windy day! | ||

| JonathanHeywood | Great Hike ![]() Date Climbed: Jan 17, 2012 | |
| Took the Fay-Luther trail to Jobs peak, then hit Jobs Sister, and then on to Freel just over six thousand feet above the trailhead. A pretty tough hike thanks to the saddle between Jobs Peak and Jobs Sister -- total upward elevation gain for the day ended up around 8500 feet. Weather was excellent and the ground was mostly snow free. | ||

Thought I could sneak in a climb before the snow really came, but there was some fresh snow and my Camry couldnt make it anywhere near the trout creek trailhead. Parked lower down, but it was a 2 hour hike to the trailhead and I ran out of daylight. Pretty scenery tho, and had the place to myself.

| Julia | Triple peak~ ![]() Date Climbed: Sep 24, 2011 | |
| What a day...started on forest service rd. 51 with my husband & girlfriend heading clockwise towards Freel. We road the saddle to Job's Sister loving the views! The down from Job's sister was pretty steep...my quads complained for a few days afterwards...made it to Job's Peak which was shrouded in cloud! Managed to descend before the bad weather showed up!Loved the day~ | ||

| danomike | Easy Sierra Peak ![]() Date Climbed: Sep 10, 2011 | |
| Did it with Job's Sister with a plan to get up Job's Peak as well, but ran out of time. For a Sierra Peak, Freel is easy, because there is no talus, or scree and it doesn't seem to create its own wind storm like some of the other peaks do. I recommend this peak to everyone and it seems like it would be a great ski peak as well. | ||

First trip via Trout Creek October 1, 2006 Up via the Tahoe Rim Trail route, down the direct route in the gully. Very cold and windy on top, ran over the Job's Sister while I was there.
