Gate with a history

Gate with a history

This gate was what kept people from using the rough road that exists (existed would be a better word) on the east side but it was "forced" open by some who ignored the locks on the gate. Now if you look to where an arrow is placed on this pic, you will see a John Deere road vehicle which has been "permanently" placed in the middle of the road so vehicles cannot get past it (still doesn't stop ATV'ers) but it stopped us. We had to back down a quarter of a mile to a spot in the road where we could get off the road and started our hike from there. Take a good look at the gate, you can tell its been driven over as it is so bent up.
