Overview
Gippel is a mountain situated in Mürzsteger Alpen which is a part of of Nördliche Kalkalpen.It lays in the most forested area in Austria - six kilometers on the south east from town called Sankt Aegyd am Neuwalde.
Getting There
There are these four starting points.1. Zögernitz (Weißenbach 77, A3193 Sankt Aegyd am Neuwalde, Austria)
From: Sankt Pölten, Austria
1. Head west on B1 toward Defreggerstr. 450 m
2. Take the 3rd left onto Rennbahnstr./B1 1.0 km
3. At the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto B20 28.9 km
4. Turn left at Freiland/B214 13.7 km
5. Continue onto Gutensteiner Strasse/Mitterbach/B21 3.2 km
6. Turn left at Alte Landstr. 400 m
7. Continue onto Weißenbach 3.7 km
