Having hiked up to Glacier Gap at 7300 feet the previous day, we began climbing at 3 AM. Josh Lewis led our rope team of four to the summit. See his trip report on NWHikers.net.

Amazing? Yes! Glacier Peak has way more personality than peaks like Hood or Rainier which you drive a good portion of the way up. Glacier is buried so deep in the wilderness that by the time you get your first glimpse of it, you've already had an epic journey. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
