This view is from the Appalachian Trail near Newfound Gap in Great Smoky National Park. It is looking into the North Carolina section of the park. I had just climbed Clingman's Dome from Newfound Gap and was now making my way back down when the rain and fog of the morning began to give away. (April 19, 2008)
