the "toilet bowl" route, Dennis is making good headway. Personally, I would take the "short cut" back if I were to do this again. Below Dennis, it drops very steeply and tests your knees to their utmost as everything slides but not in a good way. Click on pic twice to get some depth of field. 8-21-06

Was Bob with you on Kings?

Great shot of Henry's Fork Basin! Dean, I got you mixed up with Bob in my recent comment on the Bonanza Peak photo. Sorry about that!!! I climbed Kings by way of Gunsight Pass in the early 1980's. Do you remember seeing a very high & sharp peak to the west of King's summit? Is that one called Tokewanna? You guys are still doing it in great style, an awesome inspiration to us all. Be safe!
